Presbyterian Clearwater Forest, est. 1954, is a camp and spiritual retreat center located North of Garrison, Minnesota. Clearwater Forest presents 35 to 50 programs each year including summer youth camps, women’s retreats, clergy continuing education and renewal events, non-summer youth retreats, confirmation class retreats, family events, Elderhostels and other senior adult programs. Shelter worked with Clearwater’s Board of Directors and Staff to design the camp ground Master Plan and plans for a new and improved Hallett Hall (the dining hall and heart of Clearwater), a new Administration Cottage and a staff Bunkhouse.
