David is a part-time designer at Shelter, currently working towards his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis. In addition to school and work in our office, David has his own personal studio and ongoing painting practice. With a background in contemporary art, David’s passion for light, space, and material culture initially led him to architecture. He has admiration and passion for clean and elemental architecture and is no stranger to the patience, humility, and hard work needed to excel in a field of design. David is in the beginning stages of pursuing his architectural license. He is working towards his AXP (Architectural Experience Program) internship and practice hour requirements before beginning the examination phase.
