Greg MacKenzie

Greg is a designer at Shelter currently in pursuit of his architectural license. He is currently preparing for (and passing!) his ARE (Architect Registration Examination) exams, six multi-division tests that are the last step to licensure. Greg studied architecture in both Wisconsin and Minnesota, earning his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2012 and then his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota in 2017. From 2013-2015, Greg worked as a Construction Volunteer Facilitator at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, where he led volunteers in building affordable homes for low-income families. Greg is committed to design excellence and brings to the Shelter team great attention to detail as well as a strong empathetic foundation.

Greg has worked on many projects of note, including Victorian Veranda and REM5.
