Kersten’s work for Shelter includes specification and sourcing of products and materials, assisting with schematic design presentations, and supporting the team with her Photoshop skills. She loves creating and problem-solving and is particularly attuned to the spatial planning aspects of her projects—likely, she says, because she’s all about helping things be more functional and efficient.
Kersten recently graduated summa cum laude from Iowa State University with a BFA in interior design and a minor in general business. An avid photographer, she spent a semester in Rome that included a photography course taught by Italian professionals.
