2015 AIA-Star Tribune Home of the Month

One of Shelter Architecture’s residential projects, “Modest Midcentury,” will be featured as a 2015 Home of the Month in the Star Tribune.  The selection was announced at last night’s “Smart Investing in Your Home” event and panel discussion.  Shelter’s project was one of 12 homes selected for the feature, chosen from 53 submissions. According to a press release issued by the Star Tribune, “the Home of the Month program is a partnership between the Star Tribune and the Minnesota chapter of the American Institute of Architects. It features architect-designed houses selected by a jury of experts. The houses represent a range of prices, styles and locations.” The month in which the Shelter residence will be featured will be announced at a later date.  In the meantime, the award submission board is available for viewing at the AIA-MN office at International Market Square.
