Classic Elegant Ensuite
A long-time art collector decided it was time for a primary bath upgrade. The owner’s ask: a classic, elegant ensuite that reimagined the combined bathroom and shower space to create better flow, more storage, and a larger, more functional shower – all of which needed to seamlessly tie in with the original style of the home. Any existing pieces in the owner’s collection that could be reused in the new space were also available for incorporation into the design.

A long-time art collector decided it was time for a primary bath upgrade. The owner’s ask: a classic, elegant ensuite that reimagined the combined bathroom and shower space to create better flow, more storage, and a larger, more functional shower – all of which needed to seamlessly tie in with the original style of the home. Any existing pieces in the owner’s collection that could be reused in the new space were also available for incorporation into the design.
To increase the functionality and appeal of the combined bathroom and closet, we added an additional storage cabinet and repurposed an existing door the owner already had which maintained consistency throughout the house and added character to the new design. Each additional detail in the ensuite down to the basket weave tile and wood trim was carefully selected to match other parts of the residence. These mindful material selections combining new and repurposed design elements resulted in a classic, elegant ensuite upgrade that effortlessly balances the character and charm to seamlessly flows with the rest of the home.
