Hot Indian Foods made an award winning appearance during its first year in the fleet of the growing Twin Cities food truck scene. This restaurant’s truly unique take on Indian cuisine, highly polished brand and flirty/cheeky Bollywood personality blend together in a spicy curry of an experience that entices people to keep coming back for more.
The Minneapolis Skyway location was our first project to fully merge the brand package with the practical logistics learned from the food truck and the Midtown Global Market booth. Shelter teamed up with Hot Indian Foods in evaluating sites for their new restaurant location. The result is a highly crafted customer experience that uses an ultra-efficient, small back of house prep kitchen to serve first timers and that anticipates first timers and regulars alike. From the glowing counter that cycles through a series of brand colors to the push-button disco ball “Bollywood-Dance-Move-Discount”, every detail was meticulously considered to create the Hot Indian experience.
