We reworked an undersized house for an ecologically-sensitive family of five. After bringing the house down to its studs, we opened up the main level, added a stair column, raised a shed dormer at the center of the roof, expanded the upstairs quarters, and built out front and side porches. The house is now not only roomier, but also environmentally-sustainable. Accented with bright green and red accessories, the re-made residence has striking curb appeal in this traditional St. Paul neighborhood.
