As an Interior Designer on the Shelter team, Kersten enjoys a variety of responsibilities, but one of her favorite aspects of the job is space planning. She’s passionate about thinking through how a space will function and allowing that function to guide its form to create long-lasting spaces that adapt to a client’s needs over time.
Kersten is especially skilled at illustrating details through drawings and renderings. She loves figuring out how these details can be executed in construction and how a design vision can be brought to life for clients. Kersten adds many other valuable skills to the team including her Photoshop expertise and an exceptional attention to detail. Outside of work, she likes to read, tend to her plants, and most importantly spend time with family.
